It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith A. Johnston Wilks of Smiths Station, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Johnston, Sr. and Vera Mae Ward Redmond; her stepfather Ralph Redmond; and her sister Kathy Mae Gatlin. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Wilks of Smiths Station, AL; her sons, Frank Wilks (Teri), Jeff Wilks (Tara) and Eddie Wilks (Melissa); her grandchildren, Justin Wilks (Alicia), Corey Wilks (Bridget), Hannah Wilks Hogue (Matthew) of Gracie Wilks, J. D and Haleigh Mae Wilks; and her great grandchildren, Oakley, Kylen, William, Walker, Ryat, Jace and Brooklynn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
