He was predeceased by: his father Chalmers "Sam" Hunter; and his wife Linda Elaine Hunter. He is survived by: his mother Berthy McCoy Hunter; his sons, Jimmy Darrell Hunter Jr. (Heather) and Kevin McGuire (Christy); his sisters, Julie Adkins (Butch), Sammie Platko (Tom), Sandra Kim and Marilyn Nesbitt; his grandchildren, Megan, Noah (Alaina), Holly, Matt McGuire, Haley, Conner Thomason and Lillian Hunter; and his great grandchild Fallon McGuire. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
