In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James E. leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James E. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coleman Jackson and Ella Ruth Rhodes Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Reid Jackson; his daughter Jandee Jackson Cain (Johnny); his brother Terry Jackson; and his grandchildren, Janna Makaylee Fischer (John) and Jared Jackson Cain.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
