He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Paul Barnes, Sr. and Eva Mae Wilkins Barnes; his brother Tommy Barnes; his parents-in-law, Denver Gene Kidd and Ruth West Kidd; and his brother-in-law Gerald Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kidd Barnes; his daughters, Michelle Barnes Shedd (Jason), Salem and Amanda Barnes Norman (Drew); his siblings, Jean Barnes Hayes, Sandra Bishop (Roger), Johnny Barnes (Saria) and Kenny Barnes (Mary); his brother-in-law Michael Gene Kidd (Barbara); his grandchildren, Brianna Shedd Wells (Chris), Kaleigh Shedd Laughlin, Curtis Jason Shedd, Evelyn Gene Norman and Ansley Opal Norman; and his great grandchildren, Maddox Wells, Aspen Laughlin and Madeline Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
