She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grady Jackson and Maggie Armstrong Jackson; her husbands, Richard "Dick" Edward Carpenter and Riley F. Daniel; her son Jeffery Edward Carpenter; and her siblings, Jacqueline Josephine Martin Lewis, Henry Gerald Jackson, Jessie Jeanette Jackson Mott and Robert Cyril Jackson.
She is survived by: her son Richard G. Carpenter (Peggy) of Smiths Station, AL; her grandchildren, Amy Carpenter Lawson (Jamie), Richard B. Carpenter and Kevin W. Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Stewart Cole Lawson (Samantha) and Abbey Lawson Toland (John); and her great great grandchild John Greyson Toland. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and long time friends.
