He is survived by: his wife Barbara Berry Barker of Smiths Station; his sister Cordell Bishop of Daviston, Alabama; his great-niece Ashley Minchew of Waycross, Georgia; his great-nephews, Jake Minchew of Saint Marys and Baylor Stacy of Albany, Georgia; his adoptive children, Jim and Christy Cook of Columbus, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Sydney Cook of Columbus, Georgia, Avery Cook of Columbus, Georgia and Josiah Cook of Columbus, Georgia.
