She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Laverne Garz; her parents, Emil Ahola and Ailie Ahola (Jarvi); her sister Shirley Paulus; and her nephew Dennis Ahola.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Garz, Shirley Davis (David) of Phenix City, AL, Kim Garz of Salem, AL and Jason Garz (Tara) of Springfield, VA.; her granddaughters, Carla Evans (Will), Jennifer Garz (Marc) and Mia Garz; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Conner (Tearra), Jacob Evans, Keri Young and Nathain Young; her great great grandchildren, Braxon Conner, Brayden Conner and Kaia Sellers; and her brothers, Duane Ahola and Ronald Ahola.
