He was predeceased by: his parents, David Mitchell and Ruth McClaney Mitchell; his son-in-law Benny Baxley; and his brother-in-law Benny Thomley. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Mitchell; his children, Melinda Mitchell Baxley and Jeff Mitchell; his grandchildren, Drue Ellis (Matt), Skyler Baxley (Brianna), Spencer Baxley (Ashley Peters), Kaylyn Beebe (Roy) and Kristin Mitchell (Aaron Arnold); his great grandchildren, Josiah Baxley, Rayna Beebe, Rylan Sollars and Colton Mitchell; his sister Mary Ellen Thomley; and his niece Angie Jones (Mike). He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
