With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael E. Reeves of Slocomb, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael E. left this world on January 28, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michael E. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Reeves and Harolyn Chapman Reeves. He is survived by: his wife Melissa W. Reeves; his daughter Jessica R. Seay (Colby); his granddaughter Oakley Kathryn Seay; and his siblings, Randy Reeves (Susan), Harold Reeves (Mona) and Carol Thomas (Billy).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Malvern Baptist Church (161 Church St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
