She was predeceased by: her father Abner Thompson; her husband Jerry Vinson; and her son Neal Vinson. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Armstrong (Robert), Charlotte Ward (Teddy) and Greg Vinson (Pam); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Vinson; and her brothers, Oscar Thompson (Martha) and Eric Thompson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3176 Cumbie Road, Newton, Al 36352.
