He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father PawPaw; his brother G. W. Kirkland; his mother-in-law Pearl Brooks; his wife Phyllis Brooks Kirkland; his children, Tanya Kirkland (E. J.), Chasity Causey (Guy) and Josh Kirkland (Kaitlyn); and his grandchildren, Summer Nelson, Emma Causey, Gabbie Causey, Alli Kate Causey, Olivia Kirkland and Spencer Kirkland. He was also cherished by several cousins and other extended family and friends.
