It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon V. Keel of Slocomb, Alabama, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton O. Keel and Onice W. Johnson Keel; his wife Betty Sorrells Keel; and his siblings, Jeanette Norton, Sue Rehonic and John Perry Keel.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Keel, Linda McAllister (Tim), Johnny Keel (Kay) and Bobby Keel (Paige); his grandchildren, Sheila Weber (Jack), John Keel (Rhiannon), Ron Keel (Jessica), Josh McAllister (Laura), Billy McAllister (Blakely), Leala Birge (Harold), Clay Keel and Brody Keel; and his siblings, Gene Keel, Martha Elder and Myrle Maddox. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
