She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Gardner; her children, Wallace Mitchell, Stephen Mitchell, Carol Dunn and Tonya Greiner; and her siblings, Cecil Kirkland, Duke Kirkland, Robbie Deese and Sarah Green.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Mitchell, Glenda Dugas, Myra McCloud and Cindy Douglas; and her brothers, Billy Kirkland (Gail) and Tommy Kirkland (Ann). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
