He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Schofner; and his siblings, Willie, Willey, Lewis, Randall, Edward, David, Mary Goodson and Martha Mullis.
He is survived by: his children, Jenna Deal, Roger Deal (Kerry) and Ronnie Deal; his grandchildren, Justin, Jordon, Jackson, KayleeAnn, Erin and Wesley; his great grandchildren, Slade, Stetson, Mathew, Easton, Megan, Holden, Savannah and Grayson; his siblings, Sarah Womack, Betty Carpenter (David), Billy Deal, Jack Deal (Phyllis), Jessie Deal (Martha) and Tony Deal; and his sisters-in-law, Verdell Deal and Margaret Deal. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Wicksburg Assembly of God Church Building Fund, 887 AL 103, Slocomb, AL 36375.
