He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawrence and Doris Wilkes Cox. He is survived by: his wife Carol Cox; his sons, Scott A. Cox (Loree), Michael G. Cox (Martie), J. Kyle Cox (Kathryn) and James Matthew Cox (Madison); his grandchildren, Kylee Cox Fossum (Jeremy), Caleb Cox (Savannah), Abby Cox Owens (Manning), Olivia Cox, Logan Cox, Camille Cox, Cody Cox, Harper Cox and Hayden Cox; his great grandchild Beau Manning Owens; and his brother Danny Ray Cox. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
