We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2020, at the age of 77, Howell Gene Baxley of Slocomb, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Baxley and Evie Baxley (Bell). He is survived by: his son Tracy; his wife Lounell Baxley (Lassiter); his daughter-in-law Melissa Baxley; his grandsons, Matthew Jake Baxley of Slocomb and Luke Howell Baxley of Slocomb; and his siblings, Daisy Wilkerson of Graceville, Tommy (Dianne Baxley), William Duane (Margaret Baxley) and Greg (Paula Baxley). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to New Teamon Baptist Church, 3813 S. County Road 85., Slocomb, AL 36375.
