It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Metcalf Dalton of Slocomb, Alabama, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Metcalf Dalton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ramsey Lafayette; her husband Jep Paul Dalton, Sr.; her daughter Janet Dalton; her grandson Patrick Dalton; and her siblings, Louise Metcalf Strickland and Neil Metcalf.
She is survived by: her sons, Jep Paul Dalton, Jr. (Cecilia) and Joe Dalton; her grandchildren, Erica Dalton, Tyler Dalton (Emma), Michael Dalton (Anne Farrell) and Brian Dalton (Heather); her great grandchildren, Julia Dalton, Helen Dalton and Drew Dalton; and her nephews, Bernard Strickland, Neil Strickland and Ramsey Metcalf. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contribution be made in Helen's honor to the First Baptist Church of Slocomb, PO Box 428 Slocomb, AL 36375.
