He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Swick and Vera Householder Swick; the mother of his children Eurydice Swick; and his sons, Terry Swick, Duane Swick and Derwin Swick.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Killingsworth Swick; his sister Imogene Williams; and his stepdaughters, Karen Peters and Kim Miller. He is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
