He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Frances Fralish Sasser and Joseph E. Sasser Sr. Donald. He is survived by: his wife Mona Holland Sasser; his children, Karla Sasser (Richard Hobbs), Janet Brackins (Wade), Greg Roland (Gail) and Jamela Roland (Sean); his grandchildren, Hannah Irvin (Kate), Emma Irvin, Andrew Brackins (Alex), Rachel Martin (Fisher), Nathan Brackins (Peri) and Lydia Brackins; his children, Elizabeth McLendon (Daniel) and David Roland (Lauren); his half-sister Yvonne Keener; and his brother-in-law Dutch Holland (Sara). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
