With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delois Strickland of Slocomb, Alabama, born in Houston, Alabama, who passed away on December 6, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irby Oliver and Ressie Oliver (Eldridge); her husband Jesse Ronnie Strickland; and her siblings, Ronnie Oliver, Robert Oliver, Leroy Oliver, Derwood Oliver, Sherry Lassiter, Connie Asbel, Betty Jo Oliver and Christine Farmer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Oliver and Edith Smith (Ray); her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Robert and Tim Lassiter; and her stepchildren, Tamela Yeomans, Rhonda Crecelius, Lisa Bates, Jessie Waters, Jesse Strickland and Eric Strickland. She is also survived by several loving nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and loving family members.
