It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corrie Nell Dawsey (Slocomb, Alabama), born in Geneva, Alabama, who passed away on January 22, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Obie Lee Dawsey; her children, Janice Geraldine Justice, Joe Dawsey (Sharon), Mobile Dawsey, Ronald Dawsey (Beverly) and Montgomery; her grandchildren, James Justice Jr., Jawana Justice Watson, Kimberly Dawsey Lane (Ken) and Jason Dawsey (Catherine); her sister Doris Benton; her close friend Judy Strickland; and her children, Jennifer, Amy and Eddie. She was also cherished by eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
