He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Needham Turner and Lois Money Turner; his wife Cornelia Dominey Turner; and his siblings, Frances Halley and Frankie Oneal Turner.
He is survived by: his children, David Lee Turner II (Julie) of Montgomery, Reba Turner Currie (Lynn) of Louisville and Rhonda Gail Turner (Errand Hobbs) of Ozark; his siblings, Buck Turner (Helen) of Ozark, Lloyd Turner (Shirley) of Edwin, Jessie Louis Turner (Stephanie) of Atlanta, Maudie Starling of Abbeville, Marie Strevey of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Mary Ann Gachet of Skipperville and Dorothy Marcum (James) of Worthington, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jason Currie (Carmen) of Jack, Jeremy Currie (Ashley) of Louisville, Dr. Karson Durie (Ian) of Athens, David Michael Watson (Lauren) of Ozark, John Ryan Marse of Ozark, Nicholas Brockman of Manassas and Robert Mark White of Ozark; his great grandchildren, John Foster Hamm, Ruger Currie, Case Currie, Logan Underwood and Abigail Watson; and his close friend Mike Riley of Skipperville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
