Ard and Della Howard Ard; his sisters, Helen Kilgore of Mobile and Essie Underwood of Foley; his spouse Marjorie Meyer Ard; and his children, Lucy Fowler (Montgomery), Lisa Spencer (Silverhill), Nancy Spencer (Silverhill), Penny Avera (Fairhope) and Richard Ard Jr. (Loxley). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
