She is survived by: her husband Joseph Melvin McIlwain, Sr. of Silas, AL; her children, Joey McIlwain (Vickie) of Pennington, AL, Ginger McIlwain of Satsuma, AL, Kerita McIlwain Copeland (Greg) of Hurley, MS and Sara Anita McIlwain of Silas, AL; her grandchildren, Tyler, Akira, Bryson, Kolby, Adam, Nicholas, Taylor, Kristen, Angela and Kelly; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Cooper, Connor, Irelynn and Mattie; her siblings, James Robinson (Minerva) of Citronelle, AL, Al Robinson of Gilbertown, AL, Doris Campbell of Gilbertown, AL and Jeanette Boykin (Roy) of Gilbertown, AL; and her close friend Els Smedley of San Diego, CA..
