He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Taylor and E. V. Stokley Taylor; his wife Martha Touchstone Taylor; his son-in-law Doug Taylor; and his siblings, Julius Taylor and Ann Taylor Helton.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky J. Williams (David) of Orange Beach, AL, Wanda Taylor Byrd of Citronelle, AL, JoAnna McGrew (Ken) of Silas, AL and Darrell Taylor of Citronelle, AL; his stepson Ricky Dailey (Dawn) of Leakesville, MS; and his nieces and nephews, Charlotte Singleton, Tony, T. J., Isabell, Kathy Taylor and Rusty Taylor. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
