She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner T. Brown and Jo Dee Smith Brown; and her siblings, Ronald Brown, J. W. Brown, Roland Brown, Milton Brown, Therrell Brown, Duke Brown, Sammy Brown and Delois McLain.
She is survived by: her husband Henry C. James of Silas, AL; her children, Tim Lewis (Kriste) of Hattiesburg, MS and Kim Lewis of Nashville, TN; her siblings, Terry Brown (Sharon) of Saraland, AL and Linda Gibson of Meridian, MS; and her grandchildren, Bess Gann, Dalton Gann, John Gann, Jake Lewis and Rob Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
