He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Masters Griffith; his parents, J. T. Griffith and Lena Mae Lewis Griffith; and his brother Greer Griffith. He is survived by: his children, Todd Griffith (Pam) of Melvin, AL, Lil, Sandra Dee Griffith Hill (Ed) of Millry, AL and Donna Jo Griffith (Amanda) of Cullomburg, AL; his grandchildren, Joseph Griffith (Nicole) of Quitman, MS, Hannon Hill of Spanish Fort, AL, Brianna Chapman (Patrick) of Scott Mountain, AL, Dakota Griffith of Hattiesburg, MS and Tristan Griffith of Melvin, AL; his great grandchild Sawyer Griffith of Quitman, MS; his brothers, Johnny Griffith (Ann) of Georgia and Jesse Griffith (Milinda) of Cullomburg, AL; his sister-in-law Hazel Dixon Griffith of Scott Mountain, AL; and his close friend Ella Rea Dunn of Silas, AL..
