She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Mayo and Nannie Lou Wolfe Mayo; her husband David Reynolds Sauls, Sr.; her granddaughter Rebecca Morgan Sauls; her great grandchild Able Lee Carter; and her sisters, Marjorie Mayo, Jean Simmons and Bobbie Starling.

She is survived by: her pet Roxie; her children, Debra Herrin (Clayton), Melisha Moates (Blue Springs), David Sauls, Jr. (Tammy) and Robert Sauls (Sheila); and her siblings, Peggy Barentine of Athens, GA and Billy Tom Mayo.
