It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Gilreath Thompson of Shorter, Alabama, born in Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wofford and Elizabeth Newsom Gilreath; her husband Andrew Dudley Thompson; and her sisters, Martha Dell and Margaret Gilreath.
She is survived by: her children, Drew Thompson (Skye), Elizabeth Cook (Wes) and Emily Bunn (Jonathan); and her grandchildren, Erica Brooks, Kathryn Baker (Matt), Margaret Thompson, Amber Ballow, Yates Cook (Lindsey), Will Cook, David Bunn and Mitchell Bunn. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Radio in Montgomery.
