He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Ellis and Inez Ellis (Gwendolyn Ellis) of Shorter, AL.; his children, Jacqueline, Samuel and Stephen Ellis (Shahidah); and his siblings, Nancy Mitchell (Ruben), John (Deborah), Tobit (Josephine), Edward (Magret) and Jimmy (Henrietta).
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Webster-Progressive Funeral Home (19557 US-80, Shorter, AL 36075). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Mitchell.
