We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2022, at the age of 85, William Mack Gaines of Shelby, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Gaines and Juanita Porter Gaines. He is survived by: his nephew William "Keith" Welch; his niece Alicia Welch; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaila Welch, Ann-Kathryn Smith, Will Welch and Shelton Smith; his cousins, Norene and Ronnie Bailey; and also Peggy McGlothlin Gaines.
