Roger Dale Busby Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Busby of Shelby, Alabama, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Busby and Lillian Busby; his brother Gordon Busby; and his brother-in-law John Sides. He is survived by: his wife Lois Busby; his children, Christy Shoemaker, Bethany Raygoza (Omar) and Lindsey Gates (Kevin); his stepchildren, Carrie Pence (Jim) and Ron Ross; his grandchildren, Cody, Brianna Shoemaker, Dalayla, Christian, Isabella Raygoza, Anjel and Baxter Gates; his stepgrandchildren, Adam, Joshua Sherrell, Jenni Beavers, Tiffany Bihm, Buster, Hunter Greer and David Ross; his siblings, Faye Sides and Eugene Busby (Jane); his sister-in-law Eleanor Busby; his nieces, Vivian Smith, Brenda Busby, Deann Rochester and Vicky Johnson; and his nephew Randy Sides. He is also survived by twelve loving great-grandchildren.
