He is survived by: his son Gamel Bryant; his grandson Bryan Barksdale; his great grandchildren, Shakyra Newson and Samuel Barksdale; his siblings, Warnell Bryant, Sr., Horace Bryant, Fate Bryant, Sr. (Doris), James Bryant, Fannie B. Lilly and Doris Threatt (Eddie); and his friends, Henry Smith, Milton Versley and Anthony Muhammad.
