She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hammonds and Maudie Hammonds; her husband Arthur Ray Grizzle; her grandson Blaine Grizzle; and her brothers, Douglas Coleman, Robert Hammonds, Lewis Hammonds, Mike Hammonds and Johnny Hammonds.

She is survived by: her children, Joel Grizzle (Maria) and Joanna Hawkins (John E.); her grandchildren, Markal Arnold, Lyndsey Hawkins and John Grizzle; her great grandchildren, Dylin Reeves, Bella Arnold, Asher Arnold, Sebastian Ramirez and Teron Hawkins; her sister Cindy Hammonds; and her pet Jaz. She is also survived by son and a daughter, raising their children.
