He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Overton Bowers (Danny); his granddaughters, Lauren Bowers Sansing (Andrew) and Kate Bowers Edwards (Will); and also Norma G. Overton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and a host of friends.
