It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy Bruce Shaw in Shelby, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Wortham Shaw. He is survived by: his father William Perry Shaw, Jr.; his wife Terry Hamilton Shaw; his children, Kimberly Lynn Shaw (Michael), Lisa Ann Tillery (Michael) and Thomas William Shaw (Lauren); his grandchildren, Braden Tillery, Ethan Tillery, Elijah Shaw, Olivia Shaw and Ella Monroe Mccullough; and his brothers, Randall Shaw, Chris Shaw and Kevin Shaw (Jodi). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his memory to be sent to the Shelby County Humane Society.
