She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Barron; her parents, Louie Hammitt and Reba Hammitt; and her siblings, Patricia Smithson, Mack and Johnny Hammitt.

She is survived by: her sister Peggy Gentry; and her son Ben Barron. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
