He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willie Byrd and Ora Curtis; his wife Lorene McMullin Byrd; his children, Lisa Lorene and Ronald Max; his siblings, Thelma, Sis, Mary Ruth, Charles, Ray, Herschel and Wayne; his children, Melisa Byrd, Donna Burnett (Richard) and Allen Byrd (Shanen); his grandchildren, Racheal Smithey (William) and Adam Byrd (Kasey); and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Tucker Smithey, Nathan and Lillith Byrd. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
