He is survived by: his wife Bonita Simms Hoover; his sister Helen Ray Green of Paducah, KY; his sons, James Garrett Worthington (Gary) and Brien Scott Hoover of Frankfort, KY.; his grandchildren, Brittney Branson (Aaron) and Alec Hoover of Tennessee; his stepgranddaughter Taylor Allen of Shelby County, AL; his great grandchildren, Vaughn and Lucas; and his great-nephew Liam. He is also survived by husband, Dad, Grandfather, and Uncle Don is held in the hearts of his family and many, many friends.
