With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wynette Norton Mixon (Sheffield, Alabama), who passed away on June 17, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Maudie Norton; her stepmother Ruby Norton; and her husband Jones Earl Mixon. She is survived by: her children, David Earl Mixon (Allison) and Deana Mixon Lesley (Lee); her siblings, Gray Norton (Betty Jo), Dean Thomas and Jane Turman (James); and her grandchildren, Sarah Mixon, Mary Caroline and Will Lesley.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Sheffield.
