She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Askew and Jackie Holt Askew; her husband Sam Young; her son Terry; her siblings, Houston, Jack, Earl Askew, Mary Elizabeth Askew and Imogene Roberts; and her son-in-law James Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Young (Ann) of Killen, AL, Wayne Young (Debby) of St Augustine, FL and Phyllis Hall of Muscle Shoals, AL; her sister Jane Sanchez; and her grandchildren, Renee Husfeld (Russell), Melody Reyes (Jorge), Robby Young (Heather) and Dane Taylor (Kimra). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers we ask that memorials be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
