He is survived by: his wife Catherine Mary Ealy Sledge; his children, Thomas Rashaad Sledge (Sandi), Faith Sledge North (Jonathon), Katheryne Hali Holt (Antwan) and Kimbria Michelle Sledge; his siblings, George Melvin Sledge (Cheryl) and Gail Sledge Walker (Oliver); his sisters-in-law, Priscilla Sledge, Beverly Ealy, Jo Ann Carter (Johnny), Vera Ealy Rucker and Teri Ealy; his grandchildren, Dalen James Sledge (D. J.), Raina Marie Sledge, Corey Daniel Sledge, Kari Thomas North, Karsyn Elise North and Asher "Houston" Holt; his great grandchild Thomas "Kyson" Sledge; his goddaughter Demetri (Ricks); his close friends, Jean Graves (Mama Jean), Walter Rutland (Dead Eye), Navy and Pete Holley of Jacksonville, Florida.; and his friends, Jothan White, Teneka White and Kenyata White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
