He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bond and Lura Bond; and his wife Dorthea Bond. He is survived by: his sons, Greg Bond (Michelle), Grant Bond (Bridget) and Griffin Bond (Heather); his grandchildren, Zachary Bond (Meri Beth), Britney Pierce (Chase), Cody Bond (Ashton), Ben Bond, Shelby Craig (Jacob), Sierra Domen (Alex) and Parker Bond (Aubree); and his brother-in-law Donnie Smith (Yolanda). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tuscumbia First Methodist Church (104 E 3rd St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
