She is survived by: her husband Charles Grimmitt; her sons, Charles Miller Grimmitt (Susan), George Edward "Ged" Grimmitt (Cheri) and Justin Estes Grimmitt; her aunts, Frances Scurlock and Charlotte Thompson; her grandchildren, Mason, Ainslie, Noah and Lucy Grimmitt; her brother-in-law William Grimmitt (Franny); and her niece Morgan Grimmitt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Sheffield, Tennessee Valley Art Center, the Sheffield Board of Education Foundation to the Anne Grimmitt Scholarship fund or the Sheffield Public Library.
