He is survived by: his close friends, Jimmy Johnson, David Hood and Barry Beckett; his wife Brenda Gay Hawkins; his son Dale Allen Hawkins (Jackie); his stepdaughter Lesley Camille Ballance (Collin); and his grandchildren, Kristen Hawkins and Derek Hawkins.
