He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Holland Thomas; his daughter Teresa Ann Thomas; his grandson O'Quaeya Davidson; his mothers-in-law, Wile B. Sykes and Estelle Holland; and his brother-in-law Joele Doll'Holland.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Thomas Jr., Desmond Thomas (Monique), Asha Holland and Courtney Nance (Michael); his cousin Ada Bell Holland; and his aunts, Marie Holland and Louvenia Pickett. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
