He was predeceased by: his parents, Raojibhai Patel and Maniben Patel; and his brother Hasmukh Patel. He is survived by: his wife Renukaben Patel; his children, Nital Patel (Sandeep) and Nirmal Patel (Jeenal); his siblings, Harshad Patel, Indravaden Patel, Harendra Patel and Manju Patel; and his grandchildren, Jaiden Patel, Myya Patel, Leeya Patel and Ariyana Patel.
