It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Odelle Virginia Sockwell (Sheffield, Alabama), who passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Sockwell and Neoma Sockwell; and her siblings, Glen, Grady, Basil, John, Bob Sockwell, Ethel Gargis, Alene Brewer, Bonnie Sockwell and Margaret Westmoreland.

She is survived by: her sister Sarah McCarty. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to York Bluff Baptist Church.
