She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Benton and Laura Fisher (Quillen); and her siblings, Stella Mae Fisher, Bertha Faye Fisher Ingles and Jerry Lindsey.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Spires (Tony), Gene Logan (Leah) and Ross Darnell; and her grandchildren, Jimmy, Jaime, Neal, Lauren, Avery, Houston and Benton. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.
