It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Virginia Hampton of Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Rollie Whiteside and Leida Kellock Whiteside of Leighton, AL.; her husband Paden Hampton, Sr.; her son Roger Whiteside; her siblings, Willie Whiteside, Dave Whiteside, Leroy Whiteside, James Whiteside, Corene Whiteside, Emma Goodloe and Alene Jones; and her great grandchild DeShaun McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Paden Hampton, Jr. of Sheffield, AL., LaDaren Rutledge Maurice Hampton, Jerita Hampton, Chiquita Hampton, Rhonda Hampton Ivery of Tampa and Collis H. Ivery, IV; her stepchild Jasmyne Ivery; her children, Charles Cleve Hampton of Sheffield, AL. and Chris Hampton (Shanece); her stepson Chuck Burt (Kerstin); her children, Kenneth Ray Hampton of Sheffield, AL. and Latoya McDonald; and also Charles Hampton, Jr. (Ashley). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
